The Entangle e-Bridge is a cornerstone of interoperability within the Entangle Blockchain ecosystem. The fully composable, trustless e-Bridge facilitates omnichain asset transfers using Burn and Mint or Lock and Unlock mechanisms. It supports the native NGL token and can be extended to other digital assets via additional smart contracts.
e-Bridge is built on a modular architecture using photon messaging as its base. This design allows developers to create and integrate additional smart contracts to facilitate the bridging of new tokens not initially supported by the native system.
Things to note:
Minimum Transfer Requirement: Each bridge transaction must involve at least 100 NGL.
Supported Networks: Currently the blockchain networks available are Entangle, Ethereum, Mantle, BSC, Base, Solana, and Arbitrum.
Fees Involved:
Fixed Gas Fee: This fee covers the cost of transaction processing on the destination chain. It is determined by the network conditions of the destination blockchain at the time of the transfer. For Ethereum, the execution fee is 35 NGL, while for other chains it’s 0.5 NGL.
Variable Protocol Fee: This is a percentage-based fee, typically set at 0.1% of the transfer amount. This fee is paid to Transmitters for their services in facilitating the transfer.
These fees are designed to maintain the robustness and responsiveness of the e-Bridge service, ensuring users experience swift and reliable transactions across different blockchain networks.
Access the Platform: Go to the Entangle homepage and click ‘Explorer”.
Wallet Connection: Click the ‘Connect Wallet’ button on the top right corner of the page to link your digital wallet with the platform. Follow the prompts to authorize and confirm the connection.
Select the 'Bridge' Option: On the navigation bar, select the ‘Bridge’ tab to transfer tokens.
Choose the Source Network: In the ‘From’ section, select the network you currently use (e.g., BSC) where your tokens are stored.
Select the Token: Choose the type of token you wish to transfer (e.g., NGL) from the dropdown menu.
Specify the Destination Network: In the ‘To’ section, select the target network (e.g., Arbitrum) to transfer tokens.
Enter the Amount: Type the amount of tokens you want to transfer or use the ‘Max’ button to send all your available tokens. Leave enough tokens in your account to cover any network fees.
Review the Conversion: After accounting for conversion rates and fees, the interface will automatically calculate and display how much you will receive on the destination network.
Review All Details: Double-check the transaction details, including the networks, token types, and amounts.
Execute the Transfer: Click on the transfer button to initiate the transaction.
Authorize the Transaction: Confirm the transaction through your digital wallet by signing it, which may include entering a password or confirming on a hardware wallet.
By following these steps, users can effectively use the Entangle Bridge to transfer tokens across different blockchain networks securely and efficiently. This feature facilitates interoperability between various blockchains, enhancing the flexibility of managing your digital assets.
